Microsoft Files Patent for Braille Controller
You might remember not long ago Microsoft released an adaptive controller for Xbox. They’ve now taken things a step further with a US patent filed for a controller featuring Braille.
While the design maintains the current Xbox controller appearance it will feature Braille chording to enable sight impaired or blind users to utilise the controllers.
This is only a Patent at this stage therefore it may not see the light of day. It’s great for Microsoft to be pushing the boundaries and make gaming more accessible.
