Huawei Shows Off Mate 20 Series With Kirin 980 7nm SoC
Huawei have unveiled their new lineup of Mate phones featuring 4 new models.
The Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 20 RS and Mate 20 X all feature the Kirin 980 chip.
The Kirin 980 features 2x Cortex A76 @ 2.60 GHz, 2x Cortex A76 @ 1.92 GHz and 4x Cortex A55 @ 1.80 GHz along with a Mali G76MP10 @ 720MHz GPU. The devices include between 4GB and 6GB LPDDR4X memory and 128GB of storage plus the strange decision of a proprietary expansion card.
Screen wise the Mate 20 Pro includes a 6.39″ OLED running 3120 x 1440 (19.5:9) with DCI-P3 and HDR.
The Mate 20 includes a 6.53″ RGBW LCD running 2244 x 1080 (18.7:9) with DCI-P3 and HDR.
The massive Mate 20 X brings you a 7.2″ OLED running 2244 x 1080 (18.7:9) with DCI-P3 and HDR.
When is comes to battery they follow the same pattern as the screens with the Mate 20 Pro hitting 4200 mAh, the Mate 20 comes in at 4000 mAh and the Mate 20 X continues with the massive theme by including a 5000 mAh battery.
