ASUS Has New Displays at CES
ASUS are displaying a new gaming and portable professional display at CES 2020.
On the gaming side they’re showing off the TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A, it hits a nice 165Hz and 1ms response time. It’s an IPS panel that can display 2560×1440 resolution. ELMB is not something you will find on many monitors yet, it stands for Extreme Low Motion Blur, it gives you a crisp clear picture with fast moving images.
The TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A sits on a wider stand to keep the monitor stable and super thin bezels for really suck you into the display. It also features GameVisual, six pre set display modes that optimise based on what is currently being displayed. Also available is GamePlus which can show you a crosshair or FPS counter on the screen using the OSD. The monitor will also take good care of your eyes with flicker free backliight and low blue light Eye Care technology.
The other display they’re showing is the ZenSCreen MB26ACE, this is a more business focussed 15.6 inch 1080P monitor. When you’re on the road you can always do with an extra screen and this screen at only 0.7KG can be just that. The Smart Case Lite included with this screen is 35% lighter than the previous generation and can be adjusted to whatever suits you best.
It’s is an anti glare IPS panel with flicker free operation at any brightness level. Low blue light technology means less eye strain when you’re having to pull that all nighter. By plugging in a single USB-C (DisplayPort) or a USB 3.0 option you’ll add that extra screen to your laptop in no time.
No word at this stage on how much each will be or when they will be available.
