AMD Announce Radeon RX 5700 Series Graphics cards
The Radeon RX 5700 comes in three models, starting with the base 5700, 5700 XT and 5700 XT Anniversary Edition. Aimed at 1440p gaming and built on RDNA gaming architecture with improved efficiency to enhance your gaming experience.
Other features include Radeon Image Sharpening (RIS) which will improve clarity to in-game images that have been softened by other post-process effects.
FidelityFX, an open source developer toolkit to enable high-quality post-processing effects.
Radeon Anti-Lag optimises games and reduces lag to improve input-to-display response times by up to 31 percent.
DisplayPort 1.4 with Display Stream Compression (DSC) delivers high refresh rates and colour depth. Resolutions up to 8K HDR at 60Hz or 4K HDR at 144+Hz. The new ASUS Republic of Gamers 43-inch monitor previewing at E3 is capable of delivering 4K HDR at 144Hz with a single DisplayPort™ 1.4 cable.
With either 36 (5700) or 40 (XT) compute units and 2304 (5700) or 2560 (XT) stream processors it will pump out some serious frames. While the 8GB GDDR6 will provide enough memory for most games.
Current pricing is listed at USD $379 for the 5700, USD $449 for the 5700 XT and USD $499 for the anniversary edition.
